The meaning of Kalpurush

Well......here I'm am...writing a blog.....for the first time in my life! Better late than ever..........Hilarious, isn't it?

I'll start with the concept behind my nickname for this blog space 'Kalpurush'. What's this 'Kalpurush' means?

Kalpurush is a Bangla (Bengali) word means 'Orion' or 'The Hunter'. I believe everyone knows where to find Orion in the sky......if not.........interested to know.......here's the link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orion_%28constellation%29

I personally like the other meaning (The Hunter of Greek mythology) of Orion. Curious? See at wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orion_%28mythology%29

For those, who can read and understand Bangla (there is a difference between just reading and understanding something, isn't it? This may be a good topic for my next post...ha ha ha), here is the link at Bangla wiki:

Actually, if you understand Bangla, you'll find that 'Kal' (means time) and 'Purush' (means Man) creates another meaning of 'Kalpurush'. You can call it 'Time lord' or 'Ancient man' depending upon your understanding..........Debate? You are welcome!

Whatever meaning you take/like, one thing is clear............'Kalpurush' is an ancient term. Sounds philosophical? Well, here I am and it's nice to meet you!
